As an online bank, we rely on diverse methods to verify information provided to us during the application process. At times, events may occur that cause us to decline a request to open a new account.
An application may also be declined if the business is in a restricted industry, such as cannabis distributors or dispensaries, cryptocurrency, internet gambling businesses, money service businesses, or companion services.
U.S. citizenship is not required in order to open an account or be a signer on a business account, but you must be a U.S. resident with a physical U.S. address and social security number.
If you are not a U.S. citizen, we may request additional documents such as your passport and permanent resident card.

Business Money Market & Business Savings Frequently Asked Questions
Federal law limits the number of withdrawals and transfers from all U.S. savings and money market accounts to six (6) transfers per statement cycle. For each transaction that exceeds this limit, you will pay a $10 fee. See the Business Deposit Account Agreement and Schedule of Fees for more information.
