Who is Axos Bank?
Axos Bank is an FDIC-insured financial services company that has served customers for more than 25 years. As a digital-first bank, Axos offers online banking tools designed to make managing money simple and secure.
When will the transition take place?
Axos Bank will initiate the transition of Jenius accounts on May 1, 2026. You will be able to register for Axos online banking and access your account as early as May 4, 2026.
What changes should I expect with my account?
Your Jenius High Yield Savings account will convert to an Axos Bank Advance Savings account. Additional details about your account are available in your Product Change Notice and related account materials.
Will my account number stay the same?
Your account number and profile details are expected to remain the same. Please refer to your transition materials for the latest information.
How will direct deposit or transfers be affected?
Direct deposits, scheduled transfers, and payments may need to be updated after your account has been converted. You may need to provide Axos routing number 122287251 where applicable.
What do I need to know about online and mobile banking?
To access your account, you will need to register for Axos online banking at axosbank.com or download the Axos mobile app. More information will be provided prior to the transition.
How can I get help?
If you have questions, call the specialized support team Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT at (888) 965-8680. You can also chat with an agent or send a secure message through online banking.
What happens if my loan payment is currently linked to a Jenius Savings account?
If your loan payment is linked to a Jenius Savings account, you will need to update your payment account. Please review your Jenius Bank communications and make any necessary updates before the cutoff date. Payments from Jenius Savings will no longer be processed after May 1, 2026, so updating your payment account by April 27, 2026, can help you avoid missed or potentially delinquent payments—even if AutoPay appears active. For payments scheduled for May 2, 2026, and later, please use your Axos routing number.
Can I access my Jenius Bank statements after the transition?
For statements covering periods prior to conversion, please visit the Jenius Bank website or mobile application, where you can download them directly. Statement availability is subject to change, so we encourage you to download your statements promptly and review future communications from Jenius for updates.
Will my Axos Advance Savings account number be the same as my Jenius Savings account?
Yes. Your account number will remain the same after your transition to Axos Bank. Please note that Axos Bank’s routing number is 122287251.
What if I am already a customer with Axos Bank?
Thank you for banking with Axos Bank! There’s nothing you need to do—your login credentials and profile information will remain the same. On May 4, you will receive a notification confirming that your account transfer is complete. At that time, simply log in using your existing Axos Bank credentials to review your Advance Savings account. All of your personal profile information will remain unchanged.
What about my 2026 tax forms?
If eligible, you may receive one or two 1099 tax forms for the 2026 calendar year. Jenius Bank will issue a 1099 for the period covering January 1, 2026, through May 1, 2026. Axos Bank will issue a 1099 for the period covering May 2, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Please watch for future communications from Jenius Bank with additional details.
