Which accounts can I recommend?

Right now, you can refer Basic Business Checking and Business Premium Savings accounts through our referral program. We’ll keep you posted if this changes (please note that minors and trusts are not eligible to receive or share referrals).

Will I automatically get the $50 after my small business friend opens an account?

Have another small business open a new qualifying account using your unique referral link. That business must either complete:

  • A new funds deposit into their business checking account of $3,000 and maintain a minimum balance of $3,000 for 90 days after funding
    and/or

  • A new funds deposit into their Business Premium Savings account of at least $30,000 and maintain a minimum balance of $30,000 for 90 days after funding.

The $50 referral bonus will be deposited into your account within 30 days of your statement cycle end once your referred business meets all eligibility requirements.

I opened a new account, but I didn’t use the referral link. Will I still get the bonus?

Only referrals using the unique program link will qualify to participate in the program. To make sure you receive your $50 reward, the referrer's unique link must be used during account opening.

To qualify for the $50, your friend must meet the following Refer-a-Friend requirements:

  • New to Axos Bank and has never been the primary or joint owner or borrower of any Axos deposit account, loan, or investment account.

  • Open a new Basic Business Checking, Business Interest Checking, or Business Premium Savings account using your unique referral link.

  • Basic Business Checking or Business Interest Checking:

    • New funds deposit of at least $3,000 and maintain a minimum balance of $3,000 for 90 days after funding.

  • Business Premium Savings:

    • New funds deposit of at least $30,000 and maintain a minimum balance of $30,000 for 90 days after funding.

    • Approved account must be funded within 60 days of opening the new account.

There must be new funds to receive Refer-a-Friend credit. New Funds are defined as funds that did not originate from another Axos Bank account. A Direct Deposit is an electronic deposit of your paycheck or government benefits, such as Social Security or Disability. Other deposits (i.e., online banking transfers, ATM and mobile check deposits, etc.) or person-to-person payments are not considered a Direct Deposit. Account transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to the account.

The $50 Referral gift will be deposited into the Referrer’s open Axos liquid deposit account within 30 days once your referred friend meets all eligibility requirements. If no liquid deposit account is open and in good standing at the time of payout, the Referral gift may be forfeited. Refer-a-Friend gifts may be taxable as interest income and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT. Please consult your tax advisor.

The $50 Referred gift will be deposited into the Referred friend’s Basic Business Checking, Business Interest Checking, or Business Premium Savings account within 30 days of meeting all eligibility requirements. The Referred friend may only be eligible for one promotional reward per financial product/service category.

Customers will not earn a referral bonus if they refer themselves. Customers will not earn multiple bonuses if they open multiple accounts with Axos Bank. Customers will not earn a referral bonus if they are current employees of Axos Financial or its affiliates.

A referred friend will not earn a referral bonus if they have or had an existing funded Axos account, are declined, or do not use the unique referral link provided by the eligible referrer.

Axos Bank reserves the right to limit each customer to one new account-related gift incentive per calendar year. Account must remain open for 90 days or an early closure fee of $50 may apply.
