Candace L. Thiele

Candace L. Thiele is Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer for Axos Bank. In this role, her responsibilities include overseeing Human Resources and the Office of the CEO to drive enterprise strategy and initiatives that improve effectiveness and efficiency across the organization. In collaboration with business leaders, she focuses on operational competencies to drive value to employees, customers, and investors.

Prior to joining Axos Bank, Candace was a Senior Vice President and Sales Performance Manager of Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America, where she was responsible for overseeing the sales performance of the teams delivering integrated banking solutions to companies in the western states and Canada.

Candace has spent more than 20 years in the banking industry with distinction in a variety of roles and departments including marketing, operations, commercial banking, and merchant services. She is a faculty member and instructor at the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington where she graduated with honors in 2015. Candace also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. She has served on the non-profit board of the Youth and Family Services of the YMCA, and is active in teaching financial literacy to youth and supporting the military in the San Diego community.
