Candace L. Thiele

Candace L. Thiele serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Axos Bank, where she oversees Human Resources, Marketing, and the Office of the CEO. With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, she partners closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and strategic growth across the company.

In addition to her responsibilities as CAO, Ms. Thiele serves as President of Axos Business Center (ABC) in the Philippines, leading an offshore team of over 200 employees that supports the Bank’s scalability and service delivery. Recognized as a strategic and hands on operator, she has implemented initiatives that improve engagement, streamline processes, and enhance enterprise-wide collaboration.

Before joining Axos Bank, Ms. Thiele served as Senior Vice President and Sales Performance Manager for Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America, where she managed sales performance for teams delivering integrated banking solutions across the Western United States and Canada.

Ms. Thiele holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. She is also a honors graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School, where she serves as a faculty member.
