Eshel Bar-Adon

Eshel Bar-Adon is Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Chief Legal Officer of Axos Financial, Inc. and Axos Bank. After graduating from law school in 1980, he served as law clerk to the Hon. E.R. Cox, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. Between 1982 and 1998, he practiced law in Washington, DC, and was a partner in the national law firm of Sullivan & Worcester. 
While in private practice, he specialized in representing commercial real estate developers and banks in real estate finance transactions. He also served as outside counsel to companies in a variety of industries, including government contractors, technology companies, and financial services companies. 


In 1998, Mr. Bar-Adon joined Stone Street Capital, Inc., where he spent over eight years as Senior Vice President for Transactional Affairs and Corporate Counsel, also serving on the Executive Committee. After leaving Stone Street in 2006 and prior to joining Axos in 2011, Eshel was named Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Seneca One Finance, Inc., another leading specialty finance firm. During his tenure, he served as Acting President and was a member of that company’s Executive Committee.

He holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin. Eshel is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and a California Registered In-House Counsel.
