Yes. A loan may be cancelled and/or terminated if the information varies from the original tax return. We may also pull a 4506-T after closing the loan to meet established company quality control standards.
Your loan must fund by the last day of your interest rate lock commitment. If it has not funded by this date, the loan will be subject to relocking and the costs associated with the additional extended lock days requested.
Brokers will need to order an appraisal from one of Axos Bank's approved vendor's appraisal management companies.
Yes. We use various industry-standard fraud checks to insure the integrity of every file. Any fraud found on loan files is taken very seriously. We may also document the fraud issues and report them to the appropriate industry authorities and data tracking mechanisms and/or the FBI’s fraud division.
Yes. We require the appraisal to be ordered through one of our HVCC-compliant vendor's approved appraisal management companies.

We do not require a minimum net worth for WCPL Wholesale. However, we do have a $500,000 minimum net worth for Correspondent approvals.

However, if you are a Wholesale Correspondent Portfolio Lender (WCPL), you can have both the Wholesale Mortgage Express (WME) and WCPL products, but will be limited to the 1% compensation on WME and Wholesale transactions.
If you would like to do loans in WCPL and WME we offer a 1% LPC.
If you would like to do loans in our WME channel, we have four options:

No, but we do encourage you to do so. Online Banking offers many useful features such as the ability to make deposits with your scanner and transfer funds between financial institutions. Online Banking will also help you keep track of your finances and give you access to print your statements for free. You may request monthly paper statements but this may incur a fee. Please see our schedule of fees for more information.
Visit our home page and click “Sign In.”. Once you’re on the login page, select "New User." This will allow you to assign yourself your own personal Username and Password through our secure step-by-step process.
This helps us know that your computer has authorized access to your account. You have several options for receiving your access code:

  • Automated voice call
  • SMS (test) message
  • Email
Simply call customer service at 1-866-923-7114 and your access code will be enabled. If you do not wish to register your computer – because you are using a public computer, for example - you will be prompted to obtain a new access code each time you log in.
We do not limit the number of funds transfers you may make; however, you may not make funds transfers in excess of the number of funds transfers allowed by the rules governing the applicable accounts. The dollar limits at registration are:

Complete the following steps:

  1. Log into your online banking dashboard
  2. Click on Transfers
  3. Click on External Transfer
  4. Click on Transfer Between My Accounts
  5. Click on Settings and select Accounts from the drop down menu
  6. When you arrive at the screen that shows the external account, click on Activate Now.
  7. Enter the amounts of the trial deposits and click on Activate.
  1. Make sure you are logged into your online banking dashboard under your own name.
  2. Confirm you have endorsed the back of the check.
  3. Be sure to place the check in the same corner of the scanning machine for both front and back scanning.
  4. It may help to mark dots (about the size of a pencil eraser) on the four corners of the front and back of the check to help the scanner detect the outline of the check.

Federal regulations limit certain types of transfers from a money market or saving account to a combined maximum of six per month. If transfers exceed this limit more than occasionally, we will convert the account to a type not subject to transfer limits or close the account. A fee is assessed for each excess transfer paid against the account. For more information, click here.

Savings account withdrawals are simple. You can:

  • Use your ATM card at an ATM machine.
  • Initiate a transfer of money from another financial institution
  • Initiate a wire transfer (Wire Transfer Form for Business Customers or Personal Customers)
Regulation CC requires financial institutions to inform a customer when a check hold has been placed. Axos Advisor may delay the availability of funds from your check deposits to afford us time to verify the deposit and ensure the funds are collected. The email notice states when the funds will be available. Refer to the Funds Availability Policy.

Dealer Services

That depends. The retail contract program offered by Axos Dealer Services is currently available to franchised and select independent dealerships in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, and New Mexico.

  • Have a solid income and strong credit history
  • Are seeking a payment or deal structure that your traditional finance sources don’t accommodate (i.e. extended terms and strong advances on any year or make of vehicle).
For the most creditworthy buyers, the maximum LTV is 145%. This number will change, depending on creditworthiness and debt serviceability.
